While Ms. Boyle clearly has a delightful voice, her singing is mechanical at best in this introductory album. I found her treatment of the music--a mix of popular and religious standards--joyless and funereal. I wish she had lent her considerable vocal talents to something a little more upbeat, rather than this depressing and uninspiring collection. Get more detail about I Dreamed A Dream.
