So, I would have purchased this CD just because I love the rags to riches story of Susan Boyle. Is the music the best I've ever heard, no, but at least you know she's singing and not a synthesized, dubbed over pop star without any voice and just looks. So here is my review...
Wild Horses: Good, but not amazing. I Dreamed A Dream: Signature song - what made her famous and probably the genre that she should stick with... Cry Me A River: again good, but not great. How Great Thou Art: Better than good. You'll See: hum...we need to just skip this one. Daydream Believer: Again, we need to skip but better than You'll See. Up to The Mountain: Again skip. Amazing Grace: Good, I think the mellow songs are much better suited for her voice. Who I Was Born To Be: Ok. Proud: Skip this one too. The End Of The World: Skip too. Silent Night: At least the CD ends on a good note!
So would I buy a 2nd CD from her? Probably, but only as a present for my mom or my boss, because he loves her!Get more detail about I Dreamed A Dream.
