Susan Boyle is unbelievable!!! What a voice, what feeling, expression, phrasing, choice of songs...but what a dreadful production job! If you read the credits, you will notice that the producer also plays the piano and other keyboards (synthesizers, etc.)and you can figure out most of the problem. Guitars come out of nowhere, the piano and other instruments over power Susan's voice, every time she opens up, the volume and tone of her voice is lowered and the choir, etc. barge in...REALLY DREADFUL. Such a shame. I hope she finds a better studio, and does the whole thing all over again. I really want to hear her sing these songs the way she really sings them. The overall feeling of this CD is similar to eating processed food. I eat organic, and want to hear 'organic' music. Her beautiful, rich, dynamic voice is so filtered, equalized, compressed, and whatever else they did, it just is not her. One can get such a better feeling of her real voice just by listening to You-tube videos on a little computer. Okay, nuff said. GREAT singer, BAD recording.Get more detail about I Dreamed A Dream.
