My hat's off to Susan Boyle. She has character, an incredible voice, and quiet charm. I like her. I love her voice and I can't stand half of this album. It bored me to tears. What a disappointing collection of songs.
Here's what I'd love to hear: more sultry songs like "Cry Me a River" which she nails, a revival of some Judy Garland songs...and perhaps an album of Andrew Lloyd Weber songs like "Only You" from Starlight Express, anything from Phantom of the Opera, some Broadway hits to let her belt 'em out, and so on. I hope the song pickers do a much better job next time... they really did a poor job. So
