Susan Boyle has an unbelievable, clean, crisp voice that leaves you wanting more. "Wild Horses" offers a sorrowful, haunting gentleness. "Cry Me a River" packs a strong punch without the nasal quality of Strisand or the breathy overtones of Julie London. Each song has a unique Boyle stamp unlike versions I've heard from others.
Susan's voice never sounds strained as she hits both high and low notes clearly with dead on pitch. She delivers regardless of genra...and she covers a wide range...spirituals, a Christmas carol, a broadway hit, pop, and more.
If I could give this CD more than five stars, I would. Get more detail about I Dreamed A Dream.
