When I first heard Susan Boyle sing, I had tears in my eyes. A voice like a angel with a sense of compassion and elegance, that drew rave reviews and amazement. Critics still judge a voice by its cover and so many dissed her because of the way she looked and dressed. What prejudice! Yet her voice thrilled millions and the sale of her first album demonstrated she has the potential to be a force in the world.
This album, however while promoting her voice did little to show off her best quality. The arrangements were poorly done and her vocalizations felt restricted by whomever was promoting her as if she had to fit in to some further stereotype. Susan Boyle has the voice - now she needs arrangements and promoters who can trust that voice with music that brings out the range and possibility to transform her audience.Get more detail about I Dreamed A Dream.
